A quick/cheap DIY decor project

I did this awesome DIY project & it barely takes any time. They make awesome gifts and it cost around $10!

Supplies needed: bulletin board (any size you like), craft paint, yarn, silver thumb tacks.

Directions: paint your bulletin board (I painted mine grey w/ white edges). Let it dry completely. Either use a trace outline of a heart or eyeball it & place your pushpins in the shape of a heart on your board, pushing them down half way. Next, take your yarn and double tie the end of it to one of your push pins. Now take your yarn and stretch it to the farthest pin across from you and continue until all pins have been “yarned” and you have a pretty heart!

Healthy Breakfast!

I know I’m bad at posting regularly & I’m trying to be better about that! Being a new Mom is hard on your time! Because I don’t have any time anymore, I like quick & healthy meals.

This breakfast is both! I used vegan yogurt, fruit & granola. Boom. What are your go-to breakfasts?

*I’m more active on social media like Instagram @heather_juliet & Snapchat @heatherjuliet BUT I’m trying to blog more, I promise!

A quick detox tip for sugar addiction!

Eating fruit is a great way to detox from refined sugars. Including fruits in place of sugary sweets or desserts is an easy way to trick your body! Cherries are one of my favorite fruits. Cherries also have these awesome benefits:

Antioxidant Protection

Reduce Inflammation

Cancer-Preventive Compounds

Support Healthy Sleep (Melatonin)

Arthritis Pain Relief

Reduce Belly Fat

Lower Risk of Stroke
