Welcome! I’m Heather. Mom, Author, Meditation + Yoga Teacher, Stress Health Coach, Simplified Interior Design junkie and a student of life. I help people overcome stress and learn how to deal with it in a healthy way.

I believe that everything begins with the mind, hence why I named my business Mindologie. Once we get our mindsets right, everything flows from there.
I created The Stress Method™ program, a program designed specifically for stress/anxiety, centered around Mindset/Meditation/Yoga/Design to help people transform. These scientifically researched tools help in cultivating healthy habits around stress. I have created these tools to work in a specific way in order to produce results for my clients.
My journey to health (and calm!) was long and filled with a lot of unexpected twists like chronic stress/anxiety, panic attacks, fear-based thinking, general unhappiness, self-doubt and then a devastating stage 4 cancer diagnosis shaped my life and health forever. Surviving cancer really helped me get very clear on what I was here to do. That was helping others learn how to live in the moment, find balance, reduce stress, create the right mindset and find their health and happiness….since I know what it’s like to lose it. Getting very close to death changes your perspective on everything! I was able to incorporate my Interior Design training into my programs because your space also has a large impact on your stress (believe it or not!).
Think of how chaotic life is these days. It’s taking a toll and only getting worse, and studies show our brains can’t keep up with how fast we are moving. This causes stress and anxiety. Did you know we have over 60,000 thoughts a day?! Meditation is simply the act of bringing awareness inward, finding calm, letting your worries subside for a moment.
What is Mindfulness?
Simply put: being present (but it’s more than that). In the last decade, significant research has shown mindfulness to address health issues like lowering blood pressure and stress and boosting the immune system; increasing focus and attention, including helping those suffering from ADHD, anxiety and depression, promoting well-being and less emotional reactivity; and it thickens the brain in areas in charge of empathy, decision making and emotional flexibility.
What does Interior Design have to do with it?
Your space, environment and where you spend your time greatly affects your health and wellbeing. Colors, textures, sounds, smells all contribute to your health. Clutter, stagnant air and chemicals contribute to stress which contributes to disease. I help people setup and design spaces conducive to happiness, calm and wellbeing. Think Feng Shui meets Martha Stewart!
